It can be tricky to bring nature indoors, especially in corporate spaces; however, the Corus Quay building along the Waterfront in Toronto has made an excellent step forward in embracing organic designs. Housing the headquarters of Corus Entertainment, Corus Quay has become synonymous with the modern look and feel so many people find appealing. To bring out the cleanest possible spaces, the facilities and administration professionals at Corus Entertainment chose to work with Choice Wall Installations.
Corus Entertainment’s relationship with Choice began more than a decade before the office installation took place. Through reputation and trust, Choice was seen as the premiere office installer for the project. The job involved installing more than 1,000 workstations and modular walls, and assembling in excess of 60 meeting rooms… all within expected deadlines. The end result was what Corus Entertainment called “flawless,” a nod to the responsiveness of the company.
Although the Corus Entertainment spaces may be housed in an ultra-contemporary building – complete with an indoor slide and lots of exposed glass and metal– they are refreshingly bright and cheery, echoing the best of nature. Walls seem to come alive and become magnets for visitors to the vast array of spaces, some of which are available for public tours.
As Sam Chiapetta, owner of Choice Wall Installations, knows, having the right people working on projects is essential. “We feel privileged to work on the Corus Entertainment spaces. We know we were chosen because we were the right match for such an important, high-end, visible job. We look forward to continuing to be part of the transformation of Toronto and the surrounding communities.”
